Oh goodness, what a girl Stella is!
You may remember we fundraised a while back for her eye surgery. She came in hardly able to see as her eyes were so sore. Its very common with her breed to experience eye issues.
After many tests and discussions, it was agreed Stella would undergo some tricky surgery with a chance it wouldn't work.
Stella had Keratectomy eye surgery which is a procedure that removes or reshapes the outer layers of the cornea (the clear front window of the eye) to treat surface scars, dystrophies, recurrent erosions, or refractive errors. It uses precise lasers to smooth the corneal surface and restore healthy vision.
We're delighted to say Stella's operation has been a success, her eyes are open and aren't they just beautiful!
Stella has been the best patient with incredible patience but she needs a home of her own.
If you can give this teddy bear of a cat a home, please message us.
She'll need a home away from busy roads and with a cat flap. Her eyes will need regular bathing too. Luckily she doesn't mind at all.
